CAE Gondia - National Flying Training Institute (NFTI)

Established in 2007, CAE Gondia (NFTI) is a joint venture between CAE and the Airports Authority of India and is one of India's largest flying training schools by fleet size. It delivers ab-initio training in accordance with ICAO and DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) standards, with a focused program of about 19 months leading to a CPL with instrument and multi-engine ratings. Its fleet includes Diamond DA40 single-engine and Diamond DA42 twin-engine aircraft with Garmin G1000 glass cockpits, alongside earlier Cessna types. The institute runs the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme, which can take graduates toward a first-officer role on the Airbus A320.
